A gas-chromatographic method for the determination of oxygen uptake in aerated cultures

Abstract:The oxygen uptake in aerated cultures (fermentor, shaken culture) is determined gas-chromatographically using Chromosorb 102(80/100 mesh) at -78 C. Nitrogen is used as internal standard making sampling simple and measurements of oxygen accurate.
