| Abstract: | The clearance of adenine, caffeine, guanine, theophylline, and xanthine from the haemolymph of diapausing pupae and pharate adults of Hyalophora cecropia was studied. In all animals caffeine and theophylline persisted, while the other purine bases were cleared within a few days. |
