Surface-active properties of antibiotics |

| Abstract: | The critical concentrations of the mycella formation of novobiocin, mithramycin, variamycin, erythromycin, oleandomycin and lincomycin were determined with two methods by changes in the isotherms of the surface tension and in the maximum absorption of rodamine due to the antibiotic concentrations. The results obtained with the two methods were comparable. |
