| Abstract: | Five new locality records for Artemia in Algeria are given. Some physical and chemical characteristics of their environment are recorded. Predation on Artemia by the fish Aphanius fasciatus occurs where the river Khrouf debouches in Chott Merouan but not elsewhere. |
