| Abstract: | Scanning electron microscopy has been used to study the apical surface of uterine epithelial cells in women with premature ovarian failure following steroid hormone replacement therapy. A variety of ultrastructural characteristics are identified which could indicate a uterus that is receptive for blastocyst implantation. |
