| Abstract: | Diastereoisomeric thymidine cyclic (3',5')-methanephosphonates (3a), cyclic (3',5')-phosphoranilidates (3b) and cyclic (3',5')-phosphoranilidothioates (3c) were prepared by treatment of diastereoisomerically pure thymidine 3'-O-O-(4-nitrophenyl)methanephosphonates] (2a), 3'-O-O-(4-nitrophenyl)phosphoranilidates] (2b) or 3'-O-O-(4-nitrophenyl)phosphoranilidothioates] (2c), respectively, with sodium hydroxide in dioxane-water solution. |
