| Abstract: | The presumed blood-brain barrier to 6-OH-DA was studied in 25–36 day old rats with high (30 mg/kg) and low (0.14 mg/kg) dose intravenous 6-OH-DA-1-14C. From measurements of radioactivity in heart, brain and plasma, the authors conclude that a blood-brain barrier to 6-OH-DA exists in this species. |
