| Abstract: | Summary There are described 526 desmid taxa found in 49 freshwater algal collections from Kalimantan (Borneo), Java, Bali and Sumatra, including 152 new taxa in the genera Closterium, Pleurotaenium, Euastrum, Micrasterias, Cosmarium, Arthrodesmus, Xanthidium, Staurastrum, Onychonema, Bambusina, and Desmidium. |
