| Abstract: | Stephos cryptospinosus sp. nov., a new species of calanoid copepod,is described from Western Mediterranean coastal waters. It differsfrom other species of the genus in the structure of the fifthlegs in both sexes, and in having a small spinous process onthe posterolateral margins of the last prosomite in both sexes. |
