Abstract: | A new cerebroside, namely codonocerebroside A (1), was isolated from the roots of Codonopsis lanceolata. It is the first report of cerebroside from the family Campanulaceae, while the obtained lobetyolin (2) was widespread in the Codonopsis genus. |
