Jurassic Petrified Filician Plants from the Rajmahal Hills, India

Three types of petrified filician rhizomes and their associatedpetioles and roots from the Rajmahal Hills, Bihar, India aredescribed. Two rhizomes possess protostelic vasculature withmesarch protoxylem elements and exarch protoxylem points. Theformer are gleicheniaceous while the latter is described asa schizaeaceous rhizome.
