| Abstract: | The clinical, mycological and epidemiological aspects of naturally occurringTrichophyton simii infections in chickens, dogs and man are described. Nineteen strains ofT. simii, were isolated (16 from chickens, 2 from dogs and one from man). None of 16 soil samples from these localities were positive forT. simii, although two soil samples yieldedMicrosporon gypseum. |
