| Abstract: | The hepatotoxin thiobenzamide is S-oxidized by the microsomal flavin-containing monooxygenase (MFMO)1 in liver, lung, and kidney of rabbit, mouse and rat. Its oxidation is accompanied by a large spectral shift which can be used as the basis of a simple convenient photometric assay for the MFMO system. |
