Abstract: | Summary The historical developmental stages of the hairbaiting technique are traced through the past decades.Since three investigators have substantially contributed to the development of this technique, it is proposed that this technique should in the future be known as theToma-Karling-Vanbreuseghem hairbaiting method or abbreviated as in the anagram: ToKaVa-hairbaiting method.
