Revision of the Australian genus Oncodosia Edwards (Diptera: Bombyliidae)

.The endemic Australian genus Oncodosia Edwards is redescribed and diagnosed. Four species are recognized, three redescribed and one, O.triangularis , described as new. Lectotypes are designated for O.patula (Walker) and O.plana (Walker). A cladogram of the species is proposed and a key to species is presented. Wings and genitalia are illustrated. New records extend the known generic distribution eastwards across the continent.
