| Abstract: | Recent biophysical studies on the interactions between lead and recombinant proteins and peptides that naturally bind zinc or calcium have provided unparalleled insights into the biological chemistry and molecular toxicology of lead. These studies lay the foundation for the rational design of improved methods for detecting and treating lead poisoning. |
