| Abstract: | Foliar application of NaCl to sodium-deficient Panicum coloratumstimulated photosynthesis, as did application via roots. Effectsof sodium on photosynthetic responses to internal concentrationsof CO2 under different light intensities and initial productsof 14CO2 fixation suggested that CO2 fixation and aminationof oxalacetate were limited by sodium deficiency.
