Abstract: | Continuous production of lignin-degrading enzymes by Bjerkandera adusta immobilized on polyurethane foam gave maximum activities of 220 U lignin peroxidase ml–1, 150 U manganese peroxidase ml–1, 50 U laccase ml–1 and 6.2 U protease ml–1 at the retention time of 24 h for 60 days. Protease secretion destabilized the produced lignin peroxidase, manganese peroxidase and laccase. |
