| Abstract: | Two new feather mite species of Aralichus Gaud (Pterolichoidea, Pterolichidae) are described from the white-capped parrot Pionus senilis (Spix): Aralichus elongatus and Aralichus menchacai. Immature instars and host-parasite associations are discussed. |
