| Abstract: | Stryphnodendron moricolor (Mimosaceae) is described, illustrated and discussed. The genusMonopteryx (Fabaceae) is reported for the first time outside Amazonian Brazil and adjacent Venezuela. A key distinguishing the three known species ofMonopteryx is presented. |
