| Abstract: | The hydroxyproline-rich plant cell wall glycoprotein, extensin,shows a parallel increase of its arabinose and hydroxyprolinecontents in melon plants infected with anthraonose fungus. Thesevariations are located in the hydroxyproline arabinosides whichcharacterize this macromoleeule, particularly in the hydroxyprolinetetra-arabinosides and tri-arabinosides. |
