| Abstract: | Summary It was observed that yeasts belonging to the genusMetschnikowia parasitize marine copepods both under natural and experimental conditions. The physiological activity ofMetschnikowia sp. was investigated under a variety of conditions and the importance of these organisms in the ecology of the Strait of Georgia has been discussed. |
