| Abstract: | The present study deals with the effect of migration on the adult body dimensions among the Oraons of Estern India. The study was conducted on the 232 sedente Oraon of both sexes from Gumla district, Bihar, India and their 230 migrant counter-parts of both sexes from the tea gardens in Duars are, Jalpaiguri district, West Bengal, India. The results show that the migrants are lighter and slightly shorter. |
