脑干肿瘤60例放射治疗

我院自1968年至1993年放疗60例脑干肿瘤,切除术后5例,探查术后5例,单纯放疗50例。治疗剂量50～55Gy/5～7周为宜。生存率1、3、5年分别为88％、46％和30％。少数患者可长期生存。复发者可再经放疗,仍可望延长生命和改善生存质量。预后因素与颅神经损害程度、肿瘤大小及病理性质有关。

Radiotherapy of 60 Cases Brain Stem Tumor

This article discussed radiative treatment of 60 cases with brain stem tumor from 1968 to 1993. The patients included 5 cases postoperation, 5 cases postexploration and 50 cases of pure radiative treatment. The adquate dosage of the radiotherapy was 50~55 Gy per 5~7 weeks, one-, three-, and five-year survival rates were 88%, 46%,and 30% respectively, In some cases, the patients could survive even a long time. The author thinks that recurrent patients could be treated by radiotherapy which could prolong the patients' life and improve their life quality. Progonastic factors related to the damage degree of cranial nerve, tumors' size and pathological nature of the tumors.
