| Abstract: | It was observed recently that nonionic surfactant octaethyleneglycol dodecylether (Cl2E8) decreases threshold for irreversible electroporation in membrane bilayers. In accordance, it is shown theoretically in this work that anisotropic C12E8 membrane inclusions may stabilize circular hole in a flat membrane segment. |
