Abstract:Abstract

Festuca porcii var. angustifolia is raised to the rank of a species under the new name F. rohlenae. It is an endemic of SE Dinarides in Montenegro, and it is most similar to the Carpathian F. porcii. Both species have the “broad‐leaved syndrome” and exhibit an intermediacy between “fine‐leaved” and “broad‐leaved” fescues. The comparative morpho‐anatomical data and the distribution map as well as basic ecological information of F. rohlenae are herewith presented.
