| Abstract: | In different brain structures (telencephalon, tectum opticum, rhombencephalon, cerebellum and medulla oblongata) of the teleost Serranus scriba Cuv., the content of glycogen was observed during a 24-h period. A circadian rhythm of brain glycogen concentration was found. The results are discussed with particular reference to the possible relation between catecholamines, cyclic adenine nucleotide and glycogen metabolism in the brain. |
