| Abstract: | A simple method is described for the estimation of the Michaelis parameters, Km and Vm, from a single progress curve at a single substrate concentration without the need to follow the reaction to completion. By measuring the substrate concentration and the time when the second derivative is at a minimum, Km and Vm can be easily obtained. |
