| Abstract: | Bacterial vaginosis(BV) is a common clinical disease that is associated with a variety of FemAle health problems,fetal and infant outcomes.Although its precise mechanism remains unclear,BV is characterized by a dramatic shift in the vaginal microflora,involving a relative decrease in hydrogen peroxide-producing lactobacilli,and a proliferation of anaerobes.This review summarizes the vaginal bacterial species associated with BV and the progress in recent researches. |
