| Abstract: | A method is described for the rapid and specific extraction and subsequent fluorometric assay of DNA from less than 2 × 104 diploid mammallan cells—0.1 μg of DNA. The procedure can be routinely completed in 3 hr and can be applied to quantitation of [3H]thymidine incorporation into these small quantities of DNA. |
