| Abstract: | We report here a simple and rapid method for the purification of chloroplast DNA (ctDNA) from wheat (Triticum aestivum). It utilizes an aqueous procedure, which does not involve at any stage running of gradients. Due to use of DEPC which inactivates DNases activated by EDTA, the DNase action on crude chloroplast preparation containing ctDNA is avoided. |
