| Abstract: | In the first stage of ovary development in Lineusbonaerensis Moretto 1971, a heteronemertean thatreproduces non-sexually in captivity, a group of cellssecretes an acid mucous substance rich inelectronegative and PAS (–) compounds. The matureovaries are well distended and only oocytes can befound in their cavity. Such oocytes are ameboid. Allthe cells are well differentiated from a primitivegonial syncytium. |
