| Abstract: | Kiggelaria africana and Carpotroche brasiliensis contain, besides gynocardin, 1-(β-D-glucopyranosyloxy)-4-hydroxy-2-cyclopentene-1-carbonitriles with cis allylic oxygens. Earlier reports on trans oxygenated isomers in the Flacourtiaceae should be verified. |
