Abstract: | The spotfin flyingfish Cheilopogon furcatus is recorded for the first time in the Mediterranean Sea, near Zarzis, in the Gulf of Gabès, southern Tunisia. This record is probably due to migration from the eastern Atlantic through the Strait of Gibraltar. |
