The milkweed bug electroantennogram: Milkweed bug extracts and the effect of light and temperature

Milkweed bug olfactory receptors were stimulated by extracts of adult male and female milkweed bugs. These responses, measured electrophysiologically, were independent of sex and reproductive condition. An increase in temperature above room temperature decreased the stimulus-off amplitude of the electroantennogram, but the electroantennogram was not changed by variations in light intensity.
