Abstract: | The author investigated the cerebral cortex of 30-day ratlings born of rats preliminarily neurosensitized with a homologous cerebral cortex antigen, and of intact, control rats. In comparison with control, there was a reduction of the width of the sensory-motor region of the cortex, chiefly on account of the lower layers, diminution of the size of cell bodies of large neurons in the layer, inadequate development of the cytoplasm, and retarded accumulation of basophilic substance in it. |
