Abstract: | S ummary : Experiments have shown that there is a considerable increase in temperature during the mechanical breakage of micro-organisms when using a Mickle tissue disintegrator and a vibratory ball mill. Simple enclosures containing solid CO2 are described by means of which rise in temperature during treatment may be prevented. |
