Abstract:Urinary extracts were purified by Engel's method and countercurrent distribution, chromatography, and redistribution. Methods of estimating impurity levels and quenching were developed. Optimum conditions of sensitizing extracts were determined for use of a correction equation based on decrease of fluorescence of estrogen and constancy of that of impurities.
