Experimentelle Untersuchungen am Dottersackepithel der Ratte

Zusammenfassung Untersucht wurde das Verhalten von Dottersackepithelzellen der Ratte (17. bis 21. Embryonaltag) gegen resorbiertes Ferritin und Trypanblau. Die Substanzen werden zunächst in apikal gelegenen Vakuolen gespeichert, von denen viele saure Phosphatase und E₆₀₀-resistente Esterase enthalten. Vermutlich handelt es sich bei den Vakuolen um Lysosomen, die dem Abbau der resorbierten Substanzen dienen. Ein Teil des Ferritins liegt frei im Cytoplasma. Wir nehmen an, daß Vakuolen platzen können, so daß Ferritin freigesetzt wird.

Summary The present study deals with the yolk sac epithelium of the rat (17–21 days of fetal life) after absorption of ferritin and trypan blue. These substances are stored in vacuoles present in the apical parts of the cells. Since the vacuoles contain acid phosphatase and E 600 resistent esterase they are probably lysosomes involved in the degradation of the absorbed substances. Ferritin was also observed to lie free in the cytoplasm. It is suggested that the vacuoles may rupture and that ferritin is set free.
