| Abstract: | Effects of prostaglandin E1(PGE1) and prostaglandin I2(PGI2) on the mechanical activity and tissue cyclic AMP content of the longitudinal muscle of rabbit intestine were examined, comparing that of the tissue cyclic AMP content. Isoproterenol caused a relaxation and increased tissue cyclic AMP content. |
