Abstract: | Sclerotium rot of sugar beets incited byP. rolfsii is described for the first time from India. The disease has been found widely prevalent around Pantnagar. Observations on the susceptibility of crops grown in the affected areas and the relative susceptibility of different sugarbeets varieties are presented.
