Abstract: | Several monoacetyldiglycerides were synthesized from glycerol in search for new Ca2+ mobilizing agent in vitro. All monoacetyldiglycerides except linolenoyl and phenlycyclopropylcarbonyl derivatives showed activity toward Ca2+ release in pancreatic acinar cells. Linoleoyl and docosahexaenoyl derivatives were chosen for further test and exhibited unique activity. |
