| Abstract: | Mitochondrial megachannel, a multiprotein complex, is localized in close contacts of the outer and the inner mitochondrial membranes. It plays important role in many aspects of cell physiology and its opening can have different consequences. This review summarizes the present knowledge about structure and function of the megachannel in the cell. |
