| Abstract: | Data are summarized on experimental means of induction of PSEE and its modification/prevention with the aim to achieve optimal ratio of estrogenic effects (as low as possible genotoxicity in combination with satisfactory and excessive hormonal action). Among studied agents were ethanol, tobacco smoke, irradiation, aging (as PSEE inductors) and carnosine, N-acetylcystein, vit. E and C, melatonin, swimming and antiestrogen ICI 182780 (as PSEE modificators). |
