White Blood Cell Count of the scorpion fish Scorpaena porcus as a biomarker of anthropogenic pollution in the Black Sea coastal waters

Abstract:This paper outlines the research findings on alterations in White Blood Cell Count of the scorpion fish Scorpaena porcus that inhabits the bays along the coastline of Sevastopol, depending on the level of environmental pollution. In the most polluted areas, the scorpion fish exhibits lymphocytosis and neutropenia.
