缠结龙脑香的引种栽培

Introduction and cultivation of Dipterocarpus intricatus Dyer

Dipterocarpus intricatus Dyer was introduced from Thailand and cultivated in Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanic Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 1980. The mean annual grow-th of tree height is 0. 62~ 0. 72 m and breast diameter is 0. 69 ~ 1. 28 cm. The flowering period is from middles-April to middleMay. Fruit mature peried is from late-June to middle-July. The introduced trees have had normal flower and fertile seeds for 3 years. Seed moisture is 34. 7 % and seed germination rate is 96. 7 %. The annual drop-leaf weight is 1. 18 kg/m2. No cold injury, serious disease and insect damage occure. It shows that D. intricatus can be introduced and cultivated successfully to Xishuangbanna, Yunnan, China.
