| Abstract: | Summary The root biomass of rice seedlings increased due to inoculation withAzospirillum brasilense andAzotobacter chroococcum singly or in combination. In general, the increase in the biomass of roots was better in unsterilized soil than in sterilized one with or without inorganic nitrogen in the form of urea. |
