| Abstract: | ABSTRACT. Changes in the haemolymph titre of arginine vasopressin-like diuretic hormone and the rate of secretion of primary urine by the Malpighian tubules were studied simultaneously for 24 h in the migratory locust. Some correlations appear between these two components of water balance, but they are not always correlated. The influence of feeding in the process of the diuresis is discussed. |
