| Abstract: | Summary A small accessory chromosome was detected in amniocytes and maternal lymphocytes and identified as an inversion duplication of the short arms of two chromosomes 15. This is the first time that complete identification of this extra chromosome has been possible prenatally. The variant chromosome was not associated with clinical abnormalities. |
