| Abstract: | Young chick blastoderms contain erythropoietic stem cells able to produce normocytic clones when grafted to irradiated chickens. These stem cells are present as early as the 36th hour of incubation, long before the occurrence of the first normoblasts. Later, they exhibit exponential growth. |
